Le magazine japonais Famitsu, dans son édition de vendredi, fait état de l’arrivée de Phantasy Star Zero sur DS. Toshiyuki Kubooka (THE iDOLM@STER) serait en charge du character design, alors que le scénario serait co-écrit par un romancier japonais, Teru Arai. Le jeu permettrait de jouer jusqu’à quatre grâce au Wi-Fi. Prévu pour cet hiver au Japon, il devrait faire un carton, si l’on regarde les ventes de Phantasy Star Portable.
